SubZuda Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 Hi guys i m thinking of tuning my box at 35 hz cuz i rly like low HZ music ,it makes my ears feel pleasure but i wanna know if i l be able to play/feel higher HZ tunes. Thanks
MotorCityFats13 Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 I have built all my enclosures at 33hz and they play 40-50hz great...60hz and up rolls off, its under the tune to really worry about
Triticum Agricolam Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 Yup, the tuning frequency is just what gets boosted by the port, above that and the sound comes straight off the cone. While there may be a peak in output around tuning, you can still play up pretty much as high as you would want. Yeah thats what makes me worried a bit... i wanna listen-feel the lows on the "Akon ft Young Jeezy -Soul Survivor" but in the same time i wanna listen-feel also the mids from "Pop Lock And Drop It" if you know what i mean "EDIT" My Goal is to tune the box so i can Feel the 4 different Frequencies from the "Young Jeezy - Put On" song which got 55,44,37,28 hz which are the most "good" frequencies anything above 60 is headache
Calibasshead Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 My box is tuned to 33hz and I can hear and feel all of those frequencies. 28hz sounds and feels downright right nasty lol. Violent can be another adjective for it. Literally shakes the parts off of my car lol
