JL vs DC

Depends on the level woofer we are talking about.

Id personally takee a W7 over a DC XL or anything below, It would be hard to chose between a lvl5 and a w7.

It would come down to the install and what you are trying to achieve with that said install.

Thing is with JL audio, they do all their own R&D work in house in the USA, all the woofers are hand assembled in the USA.
They will even give you personal tours of their factories and show you things being built in house (amps, woofers, speakers, even their enclosures).

Your going to pay a tad more for said product when it actually comes from where they claim unlike others (not singling out any company in specific here)

The only hate anyone can have on JL is the price point, and that is being foolished because they cant understand the costs of said r&d, marketing, huge factory overheads, employees, and so on.
