Subs: 2 15" American Bass tnt1544 dual 4ohm Amp: Older alpine mono m1005 2000watt max at 2 ohm stable class d. I realized i will will have to run them at 4 ohms with a 800 watt rms. Subs parallel would be 1 ohm. Kinda plan on a new amp your thoughts or recomendations? Im looking for a box for both 15s facing upward. I want port toward rear hatch. Looking for a serious bass setup. Im thinking hz around 30-35??? Listen to rap only. Im a carpenter by trade but figuring these deminsions and ports has me a lil confused. Demensions are: L=46" fender well to well. W= 24" and h= 18-20" I can push it farther back toward the hatch if need be. I think theres another 6-7" there if we need it. Im headed to grab another one off craigs list tomorrow. So ill have each amp at 2 ohm on each sub at 2 ohms. Should be clean and clear and sound great!!! Cant wait to crank it up!!

Like a sloted port 4" high across bottom compaired to a square port 6"x6". Does it really matter? Just as long as hz is tuned correctly. Leaning toward a box like this:
