Like a sloted port 4" high across bottom compaired to a square port 6"x6". Does it really matter? Just as long as hz is tuned correctly. The aspect ratio is just the height compared to the width of the port. So if your port was 4" high by 10" wide the aspect ratio would be 1:2.5 Lower aspect ratios are better, ideally you want to keep it under 1:3, though anything up to 1:5 generally isn't a problem, above 1:5 I recommend compensating by increasing the port area and I never go about 1:8.
