looking for a new amp need suggestions

New to the forum been years since I've had a system and lots has changed. My build so far is 1 American bass hd 15 in 3.66 cubes tuned to 33 Hz double kerf port custom box. All 0 gauge wiring and big 3. Getting 2 agm group 31s this weekend. It's in a Yukon 130 amp stock alt. Right now it's running off a audiopipe apmi2000. Was wondering what would be a good amp for this setup and what size alternator would you suggest? The ap loses power once it's warm not allot but noticeable. Budget is around 700 for amp tops would like to be under but that's the limit.

now that is a good budget thatll get you a solid amp. lemme get some suggestions together but for well under that price you can get something very nice

all of those are very solid and very well backed by people on the forums. each will put out ~2k, possibly more depending on how you are wired. all are well below your range and more power could be had for that price range, but wouldnt be beneficial necessarily

Leaning for something closer to 3k 2500-3000. Thanks for all the info so far and keeping same brand isn't a issue just want something that's not garbage been spinning my wheels doing research. Was looking at a nvx3k and arc audio ks2500.

The vfl actually looks nice does it do rated? I'm weird at one ohm. What do you mean by beneficial? No difference in sound level? Thanks

Will I notice a difference getting one of these amps compared to the ap? And my friend said I should get another hd 15 and a ampere 3800 but old lady won't allow another sub lol

I can't answer the hear the difference question. Ampere is one of the best young companies makinga name in quality and customer service.

Btw, how is your AP loosing power when hot? Do you mean you don't have electrical?

No electrical right now other than big three. Getting my agms put in this Sunday. That's why I wanted to upgrade amp cause I'll have the electrical to support it trying to figure out what alternator amperage I would need also, after I figure out what amp to get. How about the arc audio I mentioned? I'm not familiar with what brand amps are good and what ones are bad. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. My friend said the ap was good and I wouldn't notice if I bought a new 2000watt amp that's what has me hesitant. And looking for more power like closer to 3k. Don't want to drop 500$ on an amp and not tell a difference you know
