Bob Tzimenatos
I am planning a build in my '04 Trailblazer. I recently acquired two Atomic APX 15's that are boxed up and ready to go to PSI for recones. I have decided that I'm definitely purchasing Sundown amplification. The decision is this: should I use two SCV-2000's or one SCV-4000? I need to make this decision so I can have the subs reconed with the proper VC's. If I ran two SCV-2k's I'd order D2's and wire each sub to one amp at 1 ohm. If I go with the SCV-4k I'd order D1's for a one ohm load on the 4k. Which way should I go? The price difference is negligible, and I'm prepared to pay for quality power to feed these subs. They're the Atomic 818 motor, and I'm having them built to take anything I can throw at them. MrSkippyJ
IMO one amp makes things simpler.
