Will It Work? (6 15s)

So I'm having extreme difficulty finding a buyer for my l7s and amp. With much contemplation and still no decision yet on the new vehicle; mostly because my dad was going to pay for half and my parents still pay my insurance and he keeps talking himself out of it), I am currently thinking on doing 6 15s and 3 zx2500.1s. That would put me at 4 08 model l7s, 2 06 model l7s, 2 08 model zx2500.1s, and my 06 model zx2500.1 (I can get the 08 endcaps for this one).

So help me on this. Would the sound be thrown off by mismatching subs until I can get some new models in at a later time or just do 4 15s and try to get rid of my old model stuff. I hate this planning phase.

edit: this is probably going to be going in a truck not an suv

i dont see a problem with doing it. Is it going to be one common chamber? Id say keep the older L7s on the older 2500, maybe do 2 subs in a chamber. Id love to see 6 l7 15s tho in that chevy

You can probably find 06 model kicker subs and amps here it is 2006

yea but i have a nifty price "agreement" with kicker that limits me to 08 models. It will either be one big box or more likely chambered all together so i can shut down some for daily.

polecat said it's not possible to recone the 06s to the 08s cause it's a totally diff. structure
