Recommended Posts

ok, so... i have a 34" ultrawide monitor and im looking to build a 2.1 set up with speakers on the side of my monitor but need help about tuning and speaker placement

if you know about home audio please let me know if you can help a little

design so far is 2 - 0.6 ft^3 boxes with 2 dayton rs150-4 speakers and a dayton amt mini-8 tweeter in each tower (links below)

and ill have a 12" dayton ultimax sub for the low end

my concern is what i should tune the speaker boxes at thinking about 69hz right now with the sub tuned at 15hz in a 3.0ft^3 box

Whats your budget? and I would recommend a kit before figuring out your own setup.

Room EQ Wizard and a good measurement mic can help but in the long run its a lot of trouble/work unless you know what you are doing or have the time to learn it.

Kits:

-DIYSOUNDGROUP

-G/R Research

-Meniscus Audio

-PartsExpress

-Madisound

-Creative Sound Solutions
