dmanson Posted November 30, 2006 Report Share Posted November 30, 2006 well for sure you'll need a 4 gauge amp kit for all three amps at the minimum. we'd need to know your car make and model to see what's the biggest alternator you can do. but by the specs you have given for you amps you might be okay with your factory alternator. as for the caps get 1 cap per 1,000 watts. heck get a 5 farad to be safe. Im running 2400watts RMS and im currently on Stock ALT and stock Batt. I had to change my original 063 battery as it died in 6 months but now i have a 065 and its not even cutting out. As long as ur wires are fine i think you would be ok. and how bad is ur voltage drop? u aint giving that amp the power it needs considering ur alt is prolly less than 140 and that amp alone pulls prolly over 200.
