Robert North Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 1. Using 2 pair of 6.5" coax with a tweeter in each door up front. 2. Power supplied with a p6002. Looking to do a pro 8" or 6.5" & pro tweeter in each door with same amp. I also have high passive crossovers to use with the pro setup. My thinking was, since they are louder/effecient and use the eq to dial in overall sound quality. Looking for a louder setup to keep up with my 4 12" and a Bd2000 This setup is in a suburban. Plenty of room in the doors. What do you think?
aculous Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 instead of going pro audio you could run 2 sets of components and it will be easier and sound better. (IMO) Pro Audio drivers are usually pretty harsh and take a decent amount of eq and taming to get to where they sound good. Rockford makes one that may be decent because I bet its matched with their pro audio super tweeter as well. You would have to go with an active crossover though. http://www.wccaraudio.com/more/speakers-mids-tweets.html Also you could run (2) Anarchy 6.5s and a nice metal dome tweeter. http://www.diysoundgroup.com/anarchy-woofer.html
