So i just bought another American bass Vfl 175.1 I am gonna run 2 of them on 2 12 Dss Ethos at .5 ohms. Heres what i have

Singer 270A Large Case alt

3 Kinetik Hk2400

1 stock AGM 800 CCA 80ah

2 runs of 1/0 gauge.

I am not trying to clamp 6k or more. I am gonna set gains more realistically for 2500 each sub if i can get that clean wiring at .5 Not sure what my box rise is to be honest. But will this be enough to hold voltage to 12.8? Basically 400ah of batteries and the H.O. alt . But ive never wired at .5

also my jeep comes with a small case alt. I have a 270a that singer is gonna recase for me but i was told it can only be recased to a large one but it will fit my jeep. Will i have any issues? I know large case is king as far as output.

From what i read on AB website that amp is ONLY one ohm stable and two ohm stable when strapped. I think if ur running them at designed impeadence u should be ok with the electrical upgrades u said u have, but running a one ohm stable amp at .5 when it not designed to idk you might have some issue with the amp.

If u havent bought the 12" Dss Ethos the come in D1 or D2 option i would get the D2 sub wire in parralle for one ohm and put it on the american bass. So that way ur one ohm stable amp sees a one ohm load and can play safely. Ive heard of some amps cooking after minutes of play when its wired sub ohm if its not designed to run under one ohm. Soundstream t1.6000dl is .5 ohm stable its 2500 rms at 1 ohm and 3000 rms at .5 ohm. Idk if that would be an option for you ?
