Mosley_23 Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 ok so I went to hook my subwoofers back up to my amp today and once everything was said and done my subwoofers are not working. I swapped out all wire to and from the subwoofers check everything on the amp and all seems fine. The protection light is off as well the amp is a fosgate 1501 bd. The amp is getting 13.8 volts checked it with a dmm. Also seen online to put the negative probe to the positive on the amp and the positive prove to the outer ring of the rca and it read .6/.7. And if it matters I'm using a jvc kdr960 as my headunit
Jessica Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 go buy a super cheap set of rca's with a 3.5mm heaphone plug on the other end, (1ft to 3ft length should be fine) plug it into your amp and phone and play some music. see what that does Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. 3vil Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 Just spitballing here, have you had a sub amp hooked up to this headunit before? Might have to go into settings and turn the sub channel on.
