Yeah that's what I was trying to ask. Lol but is there any difference between the two? Because if one is more beneficial than the other then that's the one I want to build. I just read your post and see that the series 6th order is a pain but can't be scared to try

Hey if you want to experiment, and don't mind rebuilding things as many times an needed to get the performance you want, then a series-tuned box may be right for you. They have three advantages over parallel-tuned boxes. They are generally smaller, they can be easier to physically lay out, and you only have one port coming out, which can be better if you are trying to port through a ski hole or something.

The disadvantage of a series-tuned box compared to a parallel-tuned one is the parallel-tuned box is SOOOOOOOO much easier to control how its going to sound and is a LOT more flexible is what you can do with it. Also, its not uncommon with series-tuned boxes to run into a situation where you just can't make a particular sub work acceptably. Often a parallel-tuned box can be made to work in these situations.
