What's the best place to grab switched power for a relay/fuse panel

I plan to run a few relays (5 or 6) plus fuses (I will prolly get a junkyard fusebox to rewire) for assorted things (lights, audio, ect) and I want to have it on a switched power so it turns off automatically (like a headunit)

Right now I have a add a circuit shoved into my fusebox but I want a cleaner more hidden way to do it

check the junction that is under the rear or drivers seat cant remember exactly where the location is, but thats a good place to start and easy to hide wires

Tap into the keyed on ignition wire, run that to a relay along with a direct 12v from battery. Ignition turns on, triggers relay, 12v circuit from battery opens up and powers your new fuse panel.

I considered that but didn't know were to tap it (and looked up where it runs)

Just a suggestion, consider using whats called "low side driver" relay wiring for all your accessories, it's basically using the ground to control the relays and not power. It makes running wires for relays much easier. I run constant fused power to one of the coil terminals and constant fused power to one of the switch terminals. Then on the other coil terminal run a wire to your switch, then from the other side of your switch to a ground. Then run your power output on the relay to your accessory. It makes the best use of a 6 fuse block and a 5 pack of relays. 1 10 amp fuse for all the coil power (all 5 relays on 1 10 amp they only draw about 200ma each when powered) and then 5 fuses for your 5 relay accessory power. Clean simple, done.
