Well this project suddenly started moving a lit quicker than I expected. I was planning out when I was going to buy the sub, when all of a sudden Sundown announced a yard sale. Lo and behold there was a E10 v.3 D4 for only $63, so I jumped and bought it. I am also changing the box a bit, not going to bother with the time consuming process of cutting the rabbets and decided to make it out of 5/8 since I found a supplier locally.

I also ordered the Kenwood X500-1, and on the Kenwood website it says the terminals accept 8 ga wire but according to the length I need to travel using crutchfield's cable diagrams, I should be using 4 ga. Should I worry about this?
