Need Box Dimensions - Alpine Setup in Ford Ranger

Hello guys, I've tried searching for the answer to my question, but am unable to locate one. So here it goes...

Current Gear:

• MRX-M240 Amp
• 2 x SWR-12D2 Subs (5th gen)
• Mechman 240 Amp Alternator
• XS Power MX2500 Powercell
• 2000 Ford Ranger Extended Cab

Sadly, one of voice coils in one of the subs blew. Therefore, I need a new box.

Goals for single sub setup:

• Give me back some of my extended cab (lol)
• Magnet out
• SPL over SQ in this build
• Thinking magnet up, vent firing towards passenger, box placed either behind driver seat or centered (but what works best?)
• 20" width available
• 20" height available, may be taller
• 16" depth available max (from touching seats to truck bed)

Anyone with some authority on this matter please help. Also, I am on a iMac, so i cannot use that awesome box calculator. Someone please throw my subs specs (attached at bottom) into the calculator and give me good box dimensions. I have Sketchup for what its worth. I would like to stay nearer to Alpine's suggested specifications this time as it does appear way less space is needed for the 5th gens, had like 3.x cubic feet for my current box that holds both subs. Thank you!

If your coil blew then box size likely wasn't the issue, it's more like it was clipping.

Quite probable now that you mention it. I had tuned the amp with a DMM, but the cheaper head unit that came with the truck seems to have that happen from time to time.

I'm guessing you will be compelled to push the single sub harder and it will be easier to kill, to me the best solution would be replace the broken sub and find what went wrong, also not sure if your box had some design issue that limited it's efficiency.
