D3100 Under The Hood

Recommended Posts

I was riding around on the backroads today with my music full tilt, Voltage never fell below 14.8 volts. Powermasters are no joke. What I want to do is buy another 3100 and a 300 amp Large case Gm alt and then I will wang fo show. Your setup looks nice man. Battery looks sweet in its new home.

Another one will fit between the frame rails behind the front bumper, that is where my HC2400 is. Build a bracket out of angle iron and you are set. Keeps more room in the back for equipment.

Sounds interesting. I'm gonna have to take a look at that. Could save a lot of space.

Does your hood close fine, that batt is sitting pretty high.

Closes fine man. The inside of the hood gives me about another 1 to 1 1/2 inch of clearance.

Looks like a good fit. Only thing that I would do is trim the extra rod that secures the bat. down.

Yep its in the works.
