audiofanaticz
You dont need a table saw for straight cuts, you can do that with a cheap circular saw and a home made fence for it. You may love squeezing the caulk gun and screwing in screws now. But 1 time with some clamps and a nail gun and how much quicker it is you will feel like a fool doing it the way you been. Also you cant use things like liquid nails for laminating 2 boards together for a double thickness wall or port. Its to thick and will never spread flat and thin leaving air pockets between the layers. Screws dont do nothing at all for strength, typically they are just a temporary hold method while the adhesive dries (same for brad nails). Screws actually weaken the wood because your removing material when you predrill, and sometimes even splitting the wood.
