corrosion, cable connection or a bolt getting loose would be a ground going bad..... ive never persay broken in a sub... just played it normal and let it hit hard for a few minutes each day until I built up the courage to pound it for my whole 40 minute commute to/from work.... my DC level 3 AR cone was stiff on day one and stiff now 9 months later
