Ground my alternator

Recommended Posts

That greenish bolt? Don't touch that it sets your alignment and is extremely sensitive to adjustment. It's thick metal but not really connected to the rest of the car well, electrically. It's a suspension component

for alternator using the mounting bolt. just take one out and get a longer one so you can put your grounding lug to the the alternator case. i personally ground my alt directly to the battery.

if your car doesn't have a frame and is a uni-body ground to the top of the shock tower usually a good solid ground that's how i did in my Hyundai tiburon. just make sure you take a wire wheel to it and use dielectric grease for your connections.
