Box design for 6 kicker 10" comp subs. Port help.

Me and a buddy are starting to build a box in my escape for 6 10 inch kicker comps. We are doing this because we already have 6 between the two of us and figured it would be a fun build to see how loud we can get with cheap subs. Would like to tune around 35-37 hz, yes I know more spl can be had if we go up to 40 or so but we wanna stay lower. I have about 7-8 cubic feet to play with back there. So based on that and a box calculator, I came up with 7.8 gross cubes. 5 x12 tall by 10 long on the port gets me 36 for a tuning frequency. But that seems like a tiny port for 6 10s worth of cone area. Have about 1500 rms for power.

A 5" x 12" (60 sq in) port is a bit on the small side, but not by a lot. If you increased it to about 75 sq in you should be good to go.
