im_quagmire Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 And not one time did I mention to purchase an alt with high idle output. I did, however, say one that is more efficient at lower RPM. Example, my 240 Singer has output of 250A+ at 3k rpm. Now, where I live, and the daily driving I do, I don't see much of 3k rpm unless going up a hill near my job. I said he should purchase an alt based on his driving conditions. never said to get an alt based off of idle output But What Do I Know? 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS 3.8 JVC KD-R975BTS Clarion EQS746 Kenwood P907PS Ascendant Audio 12" Havoc v.1 Ampere Audio 2000.1 MB Quart Onyx 800.4 XS Power D3400 - Hood XS Power D975 - Trunk Singer 240A Sky High OFC 0 & 4 gauge Kno Knoise Kolossus Deadener
