Face port which way?

Im doing a build in a Mazda 3 sedan. Which way should i face the port to get the best quality?

subs and port same direction is usually best for trunk and having them face the back positioned towards the back is best. All cars are different so you might try different positions for box.

I've done sub up, port back, sub up port up, sub back port back, sub back port side...

in my old impala, sub back port back for SPL. sub back port side gave better (flatter) response but wasn't quite as loud. sub/port forward was the quietest, even sealed off, but was just as balanced as sub back port side.

But then again your trunk will vary. you're just gonna have to play around with positioning to see what works in your car.
