2 HDS315 enclosure

Im looking to build a box for 2 soundqubed hds315's. I have no experience whatsoever with designing a box, so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Or if anyone already has any specs for a box for these, that would be even better. But just a few things to note:

Max dimensions:

Width: 39"

Depth: 22" with the seats in the locking position (which they don't need to be, as long as they're still there), so there is a little room to go bigger here

Height: 18" to stay below the window line which would be nice, but doesn't need to be. I think I can go up to 22" with no problems, but much more than that and the depth would become an issue with the curve of the trunk/roof.

I would like to do subs up port back if possible. Also, after doing a lot of research, I found that my car does best at about 42hz for SPL, but I'd like it to hit the lows a little more, so I want to tune it to around 35-38hz.

NOTE: I have NOT bought the subs yet. Figured I'd find a design first. I've heard that these subs really like a bigger box, so if you guys think I would actually be better off going with the 12's, please let me know. I'd rather do the 15's though. And I'm still keeping an eye open for an amp, but I think I'm just going to go with the Soundqubed Q1-2200.2

Also open to any suggestions on the port. Whether it be using aero ports, slot ports, or whatever.

So here is a suggestion see if it works in your space, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

Thanks Joe! I appreciate it. But I just have one question for you. I said I'd like the subs up and the port back. So I'm just wondering, did you miss that? Or do you think that either this design would be better, or that it's not really possible/ideal to do that? I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, especially seeing I'm new to this whole thing and you know a hell of a lot more than I do. But that's why I'm asking.. I just want to know your reasoning so that maybe I could learn a little something from it.

You would need extra 5" or so depth to have clearance for the port firing back.

Hey man joe gave me a design for my hds315s and they did work.

He's designed 3 boxes for me and they have all be great boxes.

My hds in 8c.f. did 146.6 on meter. On dash with a fsd 2.6k

Now I got a 4th order blow throu 2/1 ratio and I do 148 now but had to add 10c.f. of air space pretty much lol
