Jessica
I've heard not to have the entrance of the port too close to a side of the enclosure. Mine is flush mounted to the side of mine from the inside So when they say that, do they just mean keep away from an interior wall that would restrict air flow? Also. I used both the large flares(with the screw holes), rather than the small one. The only aside effect should be a very slight change in tuning right? Triticum Agricolam
Ideally the port should be 1 port diameter away from any internal panel in all directions, both for airflow reasons and it keep it from interacting with the box panels. If its closer than that it's possible it may influence tuning to some degree. If you have flares on both ends though its unlikely you will much interaction between the port and internal walls. Jessica
ok that helps i think im going to order a trunk pack of deadener, do a bunch of sealing and deading around the rear seat and deck. Just wanted to eliminate port as a possible issue. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
