Christian Murace
Whats up SMD! Just a quick question, I got a powered subwoofer from a while ago, the speaker is 150w and im not sure what the amp is, but if I had to guess it would be 150w rms too, however this amp can really drive the living hell out of the speaker, making it flex like a mini sun down sub. Would it be ok to chuck in a 300W rms speaker in there to replace the 150w speaker? by the way I use an a/v for my speakers at home. Thanks SMD. MrSkippyJ
As long as the voice coil configuration matches what the amp can handle its fine. Edit: doesn't mean the new sub will work well in the enclosure though.
