Jcoleman134
Hey guys, i have a 05 Chevy Tahoe i'm putting 2 15" RE SEXv1 subwoofers in. going to be around 1800w. Dimensions i have are 48" wide x 18" tall x 25" deep. outer dimensions. i can go taller if needed. and would prefer to have the port to one side as i do keep some things in the back. could anyone help with a box design? i played with re audios box calculator but its been so long that i'm afraid i wont have the right port area. I was thinking subs up and port towards the hatch. thanks in advance for any help!!

Joe X
So here is a suggestion, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 6", figure is just an assembly guide:
Jcoleman134
That's awesome thank you! just curious, is there an advantage to running the port in the middle?
Joe X
That kind of design has a few advantages, it's self bracing (the port acts as bracing), easy to build and load the drivers evenly.
