Upgrading electrical? See how much of a difference it makes HERE!!

Recommended Posts

I've been having problems with dimming lights!

Alternator whine!

And noisey, hissey fitting highs, during the dead air between music!

I solved all my voltage issues, the whining that was intermittently there, and the loud pink noise with a few cheap electrical upgrades, better quality interconnects and oxygen free copper speaker wires

First- new battery from Walmart 750 cc $36

Second- new alternator rated 275 amps @1600 rpm( not my specs but theirs )

Third-new battery from Walmart used $33.86 750cc

Fourth, fifth and sixth are in the form of batteries,

AGM everlast 325cc

Upgrade with #2 welding cable and #2 throughout

Seventh-clarion eq preamp.. The extra head room and clean signal really cleaned up that hissey noise

Often times really old vehicles ground straps will corrode and break apart causing all kinds of funky electrical issues. Once you do the Big three or the big four, you wind up replacing the grounds restoring the vehicle back to it's original condition, and solves issues you weren't aware that were caused by the broken grounds.

I am not saying the was the exact problem you had, but i'm sure it was part of it.
