copying a hdd's OS but not the files

Recommended Posts

i have a new 1tb hdd that i want to copy just the os from my old onto im trying to format that drive and start fresh being i have copied everything i want off it but i dont want to have to pay for a new windows key so is there a way to copy just the os files off my old hdd to the new hdd with out all the original software or bs that would have been on the old hdd

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

Only thing I can think of is copying the whole drives files. I don't know of a way to copy an OS from one harddrive and move it to another. Is your copy legit? What happened to your windows keys?

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha
