Loud_Low_SuperSlowed
I have a american bass ph4000md, wired at 1.33 ohms before any type of ohm rise. At full volume i drop down to 12.10 volts, normally i''m resting around 13.8-13.9 the stock alternator is around 130 amps i believe if i were to get a 240 amp alt would it be worth the price (around $400)to give the amp that stable voltage. Would i even see an increase in db or power?
ShadeTreeMechanic
The alt should make a noticeable difference. You should also do the big 3 and maybe even add a battery to the trunk. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Loud_Low_SuperSlowed
I have the big 1?, Upgraded the battery ground! the sky high car audio 0 gauge lug wont fit on with the stock wire not enough threads left on the bolt to get the nut on with both wires! (this is on the positive on the alt) and for the last frame to engine ground i will be doing that soon. Adding a second battery in the rear sounds like a good idea. i'll take that into consideration.
