Bandpass vent tuning

So I am getting a little frustrated trying to figure out my vent length for my 4th order bandpass for 2 XFL 1522.I have am working with about 15 cubes total and 175 Sq inches for the vent opening but can't not figure the vent depth. I am hoping to tune to about 50 - 55 if possible. I have tried every link or calculator I could find so I figured someone in the forums could help. Thanks

What do you mean you tried calculators? What did you do with them that didnt work?

figuring the ported aide of a 4th should be just like figuring a normal ported, just exclude the sealed side when you design it. Note that it can be tricky to get a huge port and a high ratio design to work well if you do not have the space;

as far as modeling software, cant help. not like it will matter as it all changes in the car anyway.

You can find yourself in a situation where your combination of ported volume and port area will not allow you to tune above a certain frequency. This is probably where you are at. To tune higher you need to either increase your port area or decrease your ported volume.

I just went with the wing it method and made a couple different vents that were interchangeable until I found what I was looking for. I ended up using 18.75 x 16.5 x 6.8 deep.
