Markous
I'd expect a lack of sound deadening to cause part of the problem. But it's odd you feel it's not that loud outside. I had a single pair of 6.5 Precision Power S2.65c components on 50W RMS crossed over at 80 with no deadener and they were fairly loud with doors open. How loud were you expecting to be? how is sound deadining going to make his car louder outside? I also guessed the same thing might be the problem hoping someone would confirm or correct me so i'd learn something new but after reading shades post and him mentioning cancellation and what i understand of it, that seems to make more sense now that i give it some thought.
