Help with box Design please? first post

I was hoping if someone can help me out with a box design for my subwoofers? i got a pair of rockford fosgate p3d4's new version.. im just getting into the whole custom car fabrication and i want to build my first box. This is actually my first post on any forum ive ever made, usually i just look through post already made.. i was hoping to make these p3's give me all they got. im running them on a rockford fosgate prime r1200-1d amplifier. im currently customizing the amplifier for better cooling because it gets hot kinda quick mainly because i have a black camry.. i actually was hoping to get 2 build blueprints if possible.. one for my camry 2003 and another for a 4runner 2002.. i was hoping to see if you can answer a little question for me. with custom boxes. is it the bigger the box the better? or is there a limit? how does that work.. i couldnt find much on this topic

Welcome, the usual advantage of a larger box is increased efficiency but you can't do a box as large as you want without side effects, being eventual mechanical failure of the sub the worst of them, if you are not using softwares to model the driver behavior you should stick with the box size the manufacturer suggests.

On the overheating of your amp, you should check how you have wired your subs and you also should know how to setup your gains and set your amp subsonic filter, other than that you should mount it in a well ventilated location.
