Shush Deeni
Came up with this box design on WINISD and wanted to hear some feedback from the experts. Here's the dimensions that I came up with on Torres: Outer Box Dimesnions are 13.5" x 32.375" x 24.25. Port dimensions are 8" x 8" x 31.5". The box is 3.25 cubic feet after displacement and tuned to 35hz. Port area will be 19.69" of port area per cubic foot. Vent velocity will be 17 m/s at tuning. My question is: Will a port with over 16 square inches of port area make the sub bottom out? TIA

Shush Deeni
Can you see any flaws within my design? Would like to know before I commit to building.
ckeeler11
Seems a little on the big side since RF calls for 1.0 cu.ft each. what does the cone excursion look like?
Shush Deeni
At 1,000 watts the xmax reaches 14mm at 27hz.
Triticum Agricolam
Those specs should be fine. Be sure to set your subsonic filter though.
