oldsoundguy
I will have the box behind the drivers seat in the jump seat area in my 1999 toyota extra cab 2wd pick up. I wanted to know what everyone though about sub and port direction that would most likely sound the best. I have only tried sub up port up but was thinking sub up port firing from the side to the passenger side of the truck. Or sub up port firing to the driver side panel which would be about 3-4 " away. Or sub firing to the back of my seat port up. I don't know as there are lots of different ways I can do it. What have you tried and liked the best? Thank you in advance. Here is a pick of the box with a soundqubed 8 installed. Sub up port up and port is on the drivers side. I really don't like this because it sounds like the bass is coming from my left side. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
