Joe X Posted January 25, 2017 Report Share Posted January 25, 2017 You could just mount the subs up and close the holes on the back side for a first test, I don't think you will see a dramatic difference but is something easy to try, one could further tweak the spec to increase efficiency but I wouldn't expect anything but a moderate improvement, if you want to really step up you need to increase cone area, you could also go with a more efficient type of enclosure but usually those are way more trouble (and time) than they're worth. I know the simple stuff with audio... I live in a small town hardly any people out here know a lot about it... last time I went to world hifi I asked a question to one of the guys there and he came back with Knowledge is money and I'm just like ok... and walked out the door I've never been back...
