Geewill Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Hello everyone. I need a box design for 4 JBL gt5 10s. The box will be going in a Jeep Cherokee. The space I have available is 40 w, 27 d, and 15 height. I'm only running 1200 RMS to the for subs with no subsonic filter so tuning has to be low. I would like to do about 1.3 cubic feet per sub. If anyone could help me with this I would surely be grateful.

Quiet Posted January 24, 2017 Report Posted January 24, 2017 Lol I'll sell you mine it's 5 cubes @29Hz, 60 sq in of port area. Gets down but I have beat the ever living shit out of my subs, and the surrounds are separating from the cones every winter. So much glue they're ugly now lol edit: also I have my subs inverted so it's now 5.5@27hz. Plays very flat to the low 20s. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

I was just surprised the box he came up with is the one I built lol I just used strategically placed scrap pieces vertically between the sub cutouts to stop flex and prevent unloading on the sub closest to the port. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
