dbackfan12
I am running 2 12" DC XLS on around 5K rms (before box rise) but I am thinking of switching things up a bit. I am a big fan of the LOWS and I was wondering if I transitioned from these 2 12s to a single 15 if I would be able to hit the lows a little harder. Right now, the 12s do push a good amount of air and the highs hit pretty hard, but I am looking for something a little deeper. I am in a little Mazda so multiple 15s wouldn't really be much of an option for me. I am pretty sure that a single 15 would have less overall cone area than 2 12s but I wanted to see what anyone here might think. Just for reference, if I do decide to use a single 15 I would probably use either a DC level 5 or level 6 or an SSA Evil or something like that. Joe X
I am pretty sure tuning lower/ fix box will be all you need. Now if you just want to upgrade then get some SP4 12s those are big on the lows.
