Fuses and where?

Recommended Posts

I would appreciate help with this.

So here are the amps I have and the fuses.

Rockford fosgate R600x4D (Tweeters)

Rockford fosgate r1200x1D (subs)

Stetsom ex3000 eq (mids)

NVX XCAP10 cap/distribution block

Big 4 under the hood done with 2/0 gauge wire. and a single run of 1/0 gauge wire to the trunk. None of the amps listed come with fuse. I understand that the 600x4 is asking for 60amp fuse and the 1200x1 for 100amp fuse. This is as per the manual specs. As per the stetsom amp, I have no clue. What I would like to know is, can I just mount one fuse under the hood after the battery straight to a distribution block in the trunk and not worry about fusing in the trunk or should I fuse in the trunk as well? As per the distribution block, I am going to use the cap for this. Its a very nice piece.
