bmwking
Well, against the advice of others, I opted for a sealed enclosure for the 6.5. After sub displacement the volume comes to around 0.19 cu ft. recommended was 0.25, but thats all i had to work with. All in all, it came out great (even had my first successful kerf!), i was skeptical of how it would sound or if it would even be noticeable/worth all the effort. Holy crap this little guy does work! even in an undersized, sealed enclosure. Running off a ct t-300.1, factory agm, factory alt, alpine cd-143bt HU, ct meso 5.25" components up front, soundqubed 6x9s in the rear, all in an 03 mini cooper s. just beautifully rounds out the sound, gives it a generous thump in the bottom end. The gf requested a little bit more bass in her car, but specifically nowhere near what i have in mine. She gave the surprised smile of approval! Just need some black carpet to finish it off completely. the painters tape is just covering the nut and bolt terminals from possibly bumping anything behind it.
