hotbodkev1
I installed a kenwood ddx9702s today. Im putting it in a 2012 sonanta. I bypassed the factory amp. Im powering the door speakers with a 4 channel kicker amp. I test each speaker as I hooked them up on the head unit and they worked. They all played with the car sitting in park. I can put the car in drive and reverse and they will still play but once I start to move the sound stops untill i stop moving. I am pretty sure I got the wires hooked up right in the back of the head unit. I even grounded the park switch. Any ideas???? I have been looking online for a while now but I can figure it out. twizt3dfuc
Does the radio black out when you put the vehicle in gear, or does it remain on? How is your remote for the amp hooked up? did you run straight from the hu back or what? if the amp is visible have a friend keep an eye on it while you are driving to see if it stays on. hotbodkev1
The radio stays on. But you did get me thinking about that. Im going to check on that and get my Multi meter out and check the wires. That is one thing i didnt think to do.
