Southern California sub recone

hi im curious if there is a member or a referral shop from a member that can recone a sub for me. the sub is ready for the recone, old cone is removed and i have my new recone kit. looking for someone to help me or do it for me obviously not for free. let me know. not sure if this is even the right section

What kind of sub is it? Would you be willing to do it yourself? There are tons of videos about how to do this on you tube. As long as you have the correct parts it shouldn't be too bad. We can help you if you are willing to take pictures of the process and post them up in a sub recone thread.

i have a FI ssd 10. i have my recone from FI i just dont want to f it up. i got all the stuff talking myself into doing it myself but like i said i dont want to f it up and have to get another recone and at that point might as well have bought a new sub

what version SSD?   ive got a few 10" recones here...

its a d1, flatwound wirh internal leads. the one that blew was the same but with cooling and high qts. there was not an option for that when i ordered so i just put it in the notes

sorry for the no response on this fellas. my wife had our daughter, we moved and i have been slammed at work. im going to get a new head unit this weekend. and i will also most likely do my recone. its all prepped and ready just havent put it back together

ok on a serious note i totally screwed up... i was almost done with the recone... put on my dust cap and forgot to pull my shims!! so what you guys think? think i can carefully cut my dust cap out with a dremel and jimmy a new one over the top of that one?
