justinxx2001 Posted October 13, 2017 Report Posted October 13, 2017 Hi guys. I have two ma audio hk12x2's and I'm having a hard time finding the ported box specs. I found it on SMD's forums in the past but lost my notes on it. I know the box needs to be 3 cu ft per sub but I am unsure of the port size. I'm pulling the back seats out of my truck so I have plenty of space for the box.
Joe X Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 A 6 cubic feet net box tuned to 34Hz would require some 85 square inches of port area. Port effective length would need to be about 28" on those conditions.
