I guess I'm lost why you didn't remove the hose at the clamp!?!?

I tried that first. I was able to get the bottom clamp off and easily slide the hose off. But that top hose wouldnt come lose after i unclamped it. And i didnt want to test if the hose was brittle and rips on me, figure just take the two bolts off would be easier. Failed lol

So far I think the best bet sounds like using an extractor bit like u showed, to get it out successfully. So ill just skip to that method and pick some of those up.

You could always drill it out and retap the hole.

Thats too advanced for me.

That looks like the thermostat housing.  If so, just replace the housing.  Shouldn't cost more than 20 or 30 bucks.

If i cant get this out with the extraction bit then ill see if i can replace it.

Finally got to that bolt. Bought a kit that includes reverse drill bits and the extractors. Didnt even need to use the extractor bit, the bolt started to move just when i was drilling the hole for the extractor.

Got two new bolts from Ace Hardware.
