aquill1 Posted May 1, 2008 Report Share Posted May 1, 2008 Do you plan on porting the box or sealed? Kicker recommends only 300rms when the sub is in a ported box. IMO I'd go kicker as the price is right and they use less power. They sound good and you can beat the snot out of them. What do you want to spend on the whole package or each piece? If you've got a little bit of money to spend I'd get a kicker zx750.1 it puts out 375 at 4 ohms and 750 at 2 ohms. They are underrated and most people find that the actual power output is over 900rms. That amp will allow you to add an extra sub when you find you feel one sub isn't enough! Get a dual 2 ohm sub so you can add another one in the future if you'd like to and put out at least 750rms at 2 ohms to the subs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
