puck_ya
I designed 3 different ported enclosures for an Alpine Type R 12in SWR-2D (5th gen). I mostly listen to Hip Hop and EDM and run 1000W RMS to it. Designs are tuned approx. 30Hz, 32Hz, and 35Hz https://i.imgur.com/vdR9E7f.png
Triticum Agricolam
The pink line (2.28 cu ft @ 29.9 Hz) would be my first choice. Keep in mind cabin gain is going to boost the low frequency output in your vehicle significantly, so the actual frequency response you get is going to look quite a bit different than what WinISD is showing you. Make sure you use enough port area, Alpine recommends ridiculously small amounts of port area for the subs, much to the detriment of their output. After looking at some forums around here, I think I'll go with a 2.5cu @30Hz. Triticum Agricolam
Yup, that should work well.
