kentb Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 i have an iraggi 240/165 alt and an optima yellowtop for my explorer and im running 750.1 and 350.4 kicker amps i noticed that my lights were dimming when the bass kicks. is it normal for the lights to dim even if i have a HO alt? do i need to add a battery? You shouldnt be dimming lights with what you are running and with those electrical upgrades. I would get an external battery in the back and see if that helps. Big 3 for sure if you havent already. darvex Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 Reserve is key on these big systems with high current demands. It sounds like you have a good set up but may need another battery.
