Nate197 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 My amplifier shows ratings at one, two and 4 ohms. If I wire my speakers to 1.33 ohms or 1.5 ohms is the amplifier able to read this safely or can the amplifier only run at 1,2 and four ohms. Is it made to run at any impedance between 1 and 4 ohms. Thanks
ISO Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 You should beable to run any ohm load you like as long as you don't go below the 1 ohm rating. Hell you could run a shit load of 16 ohm woofers if you wanted to. Just don't go below 1 ohm. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. "Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go." Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
