Pioneer TSW3003D4 Ported Box

I was able to get these for 80 bucks at onlinecarstereo, and havent been able to find pricing like that since they came out.  So anyways, Pioneer recommends a 3 inch round port for 1 12".  Box will be for 2 12's, at 3.6-4 cu ft net @ 35hz, depending on port size.  Should I stay with the manufacture recommended specs or go for a 7.5 in round port?

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 35 Hz
Vb = 3 ft^3

External Height = 14.5 in
External Width = 33 in
External Depth = 19.25 in

Port Width = 4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.
* Wood Thickness is  3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front = 28 1/4 x 13
Back = 33 x 13

Left & Right Sides: 
Side 1 = 17 3/4 x 13
Side 2 = 18 1/2 x 13

Top & Bottom = 33 x 19 1/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 13 3/4 x 13
Extension = 10 7/8 x 13
