ported 12 vs sealed 15

I am somewhat a beginner and am looking for some new subs for my 03 f-150 to go with my new Audiopipe mini 2000. I am planing on getting 2 sa 12s or 2 sa 15s. I don’t have very much space so I am trying to figure out if the two sealed 15s will outperform 2 ported 12s. Either would get the recommended space they need. Thanks

I haven't done a whole lot of comparitive testing, but I got a lot more enjoyment from ported boxes than sealed. That being said, the sealed boxes I tried were prefab and the ported ones I built myself. Two 12's vs two 15's is a big size difference though, if you go two 12's you should have enough room to port the box too (assuming you have enough room for two 15's already). I got a 2x12 box of 5 cubic feet and a 8x17 aeroport in the trunk of my ford fiesta, but half of the port is outside the box and I can't put my back seats down lol. There's definitely ways to make it work though!
